Attitude... a familial journey
Attitude is above all the story of a Mauritian family, pioneer of the tourist industry in its country, with
50 years experience and cornerstone to two of the major hotel groups existing nowadays.
Their secret is trust, their main asset. They trust their Family Members* who in return trust them,
thus allowing not only the well-being of each one of Attitude's guests but succeeding in the art of creating a
vibrant atmosphere throughout the Attitude Hotels.
Set up in June 2008, the Group took over the management of two hotels located on the North Coast: Coin de Mire
Attitude and Marina NFHC. Attitude already holds and manages 7 hotels of the 3 and 4 stars categories. Attitude
proposes a total of 575 rooms to its guests in the North, North West and Eastern regions of Mauritius.
Among these 7 hotels, 4 belong to the Attitude brand hotels: Coin de Mire Attitude, Emeraude Beach Attitude,
Tropical Attitude and Récif Attitude. Attitude has a management agreement with the 3 other hotels: Marina NFHC,
Les Cocotiers and Bougainville.
The Group is currently working on the construction of a 4-star 200-rooms hotel, in Kalodyne, in the North
of the island (opening planned in October 2013).
Coin de Mire Attitude, refurbished in 2009, has 102 rooms and proposes an excellent value for money deal in
the 3-star hotel category.
The enlargement of Marina NFHC, 4-star Hotel Club was successfully completed in November 2010. It has 182
rooms including 41 especially designed for couples and honeymooners.
In May 2010, Attitude purchased Emeraude Beach Attitude on the East Coast. With its 61 rooms, this 3-star
hotel was totally refurbished in 2010 and re-opened in November 2010. It has a similar structure to that of Coin de Mire Attitude.
Clients enjoy staying at Emeraude Beach Attitude.
The Group has attracted a new investor in December 2010.
The familial journey goes on…
In February 2011, Attitude adds two hotels to its hotel portfolio: Récif Attitude (3-star sup) in Pointe aux Piments
and Tropical Attitude (3-star) in Trou d'Eau Douce. These two hotels are well located both geographically and sales wise.
As from 1st September 2011, Attitude has a management agreement with the 2 other hotels: Les Cocotiers (2-star sup) and Bougainville (3-star).
Attitude has become the new reference in the 3 and 4-star hotel categories.
Attitude is following its path, with the ambition to act as a responsible partner of sustainable development of its island,
while proposing a unique holiday experience to all its guests. Thanks to the very precious assistance of its Family Members,
Attitude remains faithful to its initial brand commitment: "In Mauritius, genuineness is a matter of attitude"…
The core values of the Group focus mainly on Respect and Humility of and each and everyone. Attitude firmly believes in the
amazing capacity that every particular employee has to make clients' holidays' awesome. Attitude hence calls its employees
"its Family Members".
Our mission and action revolve round the brand Attitude, not only a brand, a Mauritian way of life, a Mauritian art de
vivre, a promise borne by each one of its Family Member, eager to share his country's genuine values with Attitude guests.
